Scholarships

TAFE Queensland has  two types of scholarships available:

Are awarded to students who can demonstrate outstanding academic merit or demonstrate strong work performance along with the demonstrable desire to secure ongoing employment within the industry to which they applied for the scholarship.

Provide equitable access to study at TAFE Queensland. They are awarded to students who can demonstrate a genuine interest in and commitment to their chosen career, and on the basis of specific equity criteria.

Course Diversity

TAFE Queensland offers a diverse range of courses covering 22 different education areas. You can study certificates, Diplomas, advanced diplomas, associate and bachelor degree, or apprenticeships and traineeship.

Employment

In 2016-2017 TAFE Queensland provides training to 122,034 unique students. Approximately 86% of these graduates went on to work or further study.

At TAFE Queensland you’ll study in purpose-built facilities including workshops with industry standard equipment, fully-functioning health clinics and labs, digital studios, and open to the public restaurants, beauty salons and gyms.
